What ORV needs is someone that can lead with compassion, purpose, and integrity, and that person is Soham. Throughout my JSA experience, I have met countless qualified delegates- however, Soham is truly like no other.
From the first time I met Soham at the 2022 Winter Congress, he
has proven to be an
extraordinary member of this organization and a valuable friend.
In his time as ORV Convention Coordinator and chapter officer, Soham has ensured the success of our most important conventions, spread the mission of JSA to numerous delegates, and brought cherished memories to many. The impacts of his efforts are tangible and powerful, and the entire ORV has benefitted endlessly from his vision.
His current positions exemplify his admirable work ethic and passion for JSA, but his qualifications for ORV Governor lay beyond his accomplishments.
Soham never fails to make the people around him feel welcomed and heard. To know Soham is to be blessed with a reliable fellow delegate and a loyal, compassionate friend. Fresh ideas and purposeful goals flourish around him- he has the natural ability to not only speak and listen but to also take initiative and put plans into action.
I am constantly inspired by the way Soham dedicates himself to JSA and the people in it. He goes above and beyond with his commitments, and he puts the priority of each of his initiatives in the people.
There is no one I would rather support wholeheartedly and serve as the campaign manager for. I am thrilled to endorse Soham for the next ORV governor, and for the bright future of the ORV, I encourage you all to do the same.

The first time I met Soham was at a friend’s house last year. I remember him being so welcoming and kind, and I felt at home even though there were so many new faces around me. Months later, I spent a lot of time with Soham at Fall State. It was my first convention as a cabinet member, and without my director there, I felt a little overwhelmed.
Soham explained every detail of the convention to me, and even helped me with activism tasks despite how busy he was with his own role. I got to see Soham moderate debates-both serious and satire- and I was in awe of his ability to balance both professionalism and fun.
He was respectful of everyones opinions and made us all feel comfortable to share our own. Soham and I ended up being in the same group for chapter caucus, and his energy was unmatched. Our group was people from a few different chapters, and Soham made us all feel at ease with his fun and outgoing nature. We ended up with one of the best performances and the room was full of laughs and applause. Soham is truly one of the most hilarious, genuine, and thoughtful people you would ever meet.

He has the ability to lead and create change for the better, and he will take this to greater heights as Governor of the Ohio River Valley. As Convention Coordinator, he has unparalleled experience in organizing and managing events and conventions for all ORV delegates.

Through all of his JSA experience thus far, he has used every opportunity to better himself and our state as a whole. I have no doubt in my mind that the ORV will be more engaged, empowered, and enhanced with Soham as Governor. I am so incredibly proud and honored to endorse Soham Gunturu for ORV Governor.
